Meet Rohan Norris MIPA, B.Comm (Acc), C.Dec, MHFA

Rohan is the heartbeat of Nortax Accountants & Advisors. A true local of Cairns, Rohan has resided in the area for the majority of his life. His journey in finance started at Griffith University, where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce in 2007. In 2010, Rohan completed the CPA Program and was appointed a fellow of CPA Australia, holding a Public Practice Certificate since 2011. His dedication and expertise led him to become a practising member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) in 2015.

He is a registered Tax Agent, a Registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor, Commissioner of Declarations, and a Mental Health First Aider. Rohan’s journey in the accounting field began in a local tax accounting firm where he worked from 2007-2011. In July 2011, he took the entrepreneurial plunge, establishing Nortax Accountants and Advisors.

Rohan’s expertise spans more than 15 years in the accounting industry, across diverse sectors like education, retail, building, and military, among others. He holds extensive experience in trust account audits and all aspects of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.

As a local business owner in Cairns and the Redlynch area, Rohan understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities that local businesses face. His core focus is to assist clients with strategic approaches to grow their revenue, increase profit, and enhance their business value.
